The Fluffy Cows were out! They were in a narrow transfer area waiting to be moved to another bit of prairie. Zeena and Tonttu of course were excited to say hi.

The sign on the fence says that everyone must stay 10 feet away from the fence for safety reasons, but doing so would have meant standing on the side of the slope! We broke the rules and stayed on the trail >>10' from the fence.

Husky Zeena descends a grassy slope, returning from a look at a small herd of Bison resting behind the fence at the top.

Happy #caturday! The cow is a door stopper and its long leg supports the cat's back. Kitty absolutely loves her cow. She always snuggles against it when no human leg is available.

The chicklets are a week old now. We think they might be an Araucana (the silvery one on the left), and a Gold-Lace Wyandotte. Not sure about sex on either of them yet but we'll find out in time...

Mother hen is doting on them and very attentive.
