This dress has some history. I’ll tell the full story slowly here. For now, it’s two most recent appearances- National Women’s show #ottawa in 2021 ( #stillMasking), and the last Halloween party we attended in 2019 as a ghost bride.

Trick or treating done right-- the only thing they're missing are the coconuts.
This was in the small town of Crystal Lake, Illinois (USA).

It’s all fun and games until you fart inside your all-encompassing chicken costume.

One #Halloween I dressed in a black turtle-neck and beret, used makeup to simulate a corpse-like appearance, carried a copy of Kerouac’s On The Road, and had a name tag with the word “Dad.” When people asked me what I was dressed as I replied “a rebus.”

It's Halloween and the GOP have dressed up their candidate, who is a pro-climate catastrophe candidate, as a Winner in the Polls. Of course, this serves to convince his followers to rebel once the landslide results are in for Harris (who is also likely a pro-climate catastrophe candidate, but at least her party pretends to want to do something).

Day 23: The Green Lady
Just a little procreate doodle for today’s Green Lady, a folk spirit from the Scottish Highlands. Often portrayed as a beautiful woman with a goat like body similar to a satyr. Slightly modelled after a door knocker as she’s meant to be a protective home spirit.
i don't partake in sanctioned holidays, but i really hope that someone who does will run with my suggestion of a couple's costume: ethel mannin & bertrand russell.
