⚯ Michel de Cryptadamus ⚯The FediAlgo hashtag filter section now highlights any hashtags you've posted about recently.Interestingly the most I've used the app the more I've found feed filtering gets a ton of mileage for me. It's a huge change of pace to be able to instantly flip between whatever people are talking about on the Fediverse. Joe Steinbring :laravel: :vue:Over the weekend, I made two attempts to create a <a href="https://jws.social/tags/node" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Node</a> script that would gather current egg prices from four grocery websites: Aldi, Sendik's, Metro Market, and Trader Joe's. My first attempt involved using <a href="https://jws.social/tags/puppeteer" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Puppeteer</a> for traditional screen scraping. In my second attempt, I extracted content from those four pages and put it into an AI prompt to retrieve the egg prices. Unfortunately, neither attempt was successful. I think that the Puppeteer method won't work because every page seems to start with a modal asking if I want to get them delivered.

Joe Steinbring :laravel: :vue:I think that I made some nice progress with my <a href="https://jws.social/tags/node" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Node</a> script for watermarking images. 1.) You tell it which of the three watermarks you want to apply and what the source image is 2.) It looks at the bottom right corner to see how bright it is and picks a light or dark watermark based upon that 3.) It applied the watermark and writes it out to an output directory 4.) It writes out a text file containing the EXIF data from the image That seems to work well but next, I want to see if I can get this working with <a href="https://jws.social/tags/macos" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#MacOS</a> Quick Action. It would be cool if I could just right-click on the file and trigger the script from there.
