Theoretical roots stretch across domains.
My work connects:
AI foundations & mathematics,
symbolic healing & Taoist patterns,
mind-body emergence and spiritual science.

In this blog post, I share my recent experiences with #Bluesky as a platform for scientific exchange. I see both advantages and risks: #Bluesky offers new opportunities, but I also miss key aspects of #Mastodon that have grown important to me (#privacy, #sustainability, #community, #opensource). For now, I use both. In the post, I reflect on what each platform gets right (and wrong) for science.

Historische Schätze sichtbar machen: An Berliner Unis lagern unzählige Objekte und Dokumente – oft unzugänglich.
Yong-Mi Rauch #HumboldtUni will das ändern. Im "beyond"-Magazin der Berlin University Alliance erklärt sie, wie Sammlungen vernetzt und nutzbar werden. https://lnkd.in/g4tveHDC
June 2025 data is now available for both Antarctic sea-ice thickness/volume (https://zacklabe.com/antarctic-sea-ice-extentconcentration/) and global sea-ice volume (https://zacklabe.com/global-sea-ice-extent-conc/) from GIOMAS.
Last month's global sea-ice volume has fallen to near-record low levels for the month of June in this dataset.
Open research information is key to our work at Open Knowledge Maps. It powers our AI-driven discovery services and allows us to provide an open, community-owned infrastructure.
That’s why we support the Barcelona Declaration (@BarcelonaDORI) - because we believe that open, reliable, and interoperable research information is essential for building inclusive and equitable knowledge infrastructures .
Excited to join this growing community of like-minded organisations!
#jurabubble

When biodiversity research is covered in newspapers, the focus is on (economic) causes of biodiversity loss and the (political) solutions, with little attention to the ecological consequences.

Nature has become the most hyporcritical for-profit publisher on the planet. They have never been about the idea that writting is thinking. They have long promoted that writting is to get them more papers more efficiently so they turn more profit. Corporate public relations is designed to sell the customer on the corporation and thats what this is.
