My family went to see Inside Out 2 today. Plotwise, it's similar to the first film, but there are enough minor changes to make it distinct in tone and feeling. I related to the first film more intellectually and as a parent, emotionally. This one, I related to personally, having struggled with anxiety for 25+ years. Anxiety literally made me anxious, and if you want to see what Pixar can do with a panic attack, well, here you go!

1. Went to the movies yesterday for the first time in 5 years!
2. Inside Out 2 - enjoyed it as much as the first one!
3. Love how these 2 characters always come to the door when I'm out front watering the plants.

I wasn’t a fan of INSIDE OUT (2015) but I loved the funnier, better paced, more emotionally resonant sequel.

Everyone dabbing a tear at the same moment — including my sister and four nieces — is what I love about moviegoing.

Give people a reason to go to theaters and they will go.
