It's going to be really interesting watching the MAGAs tie themselves in knots trying to pivot to "The government taking away our guns is good, actually" once this lawless administration reaches that step in the Fascist Playbook. [1]
Will the NRA finally rise up against the authoritarian government, as they've long claimed as the justification for their gun fetish? They haven't done it in the last five months.
[1] Probable schedule: sometime between next week (due to "violent unrest in California and other places targeting ICE just doing their job") and just before the 2026 midterm elections are cancelled (or more likely "postponed").

My impression is that #Trump couldn't care less about the #Russia #terrorism on the civilians of #Ukraine, but that he feels it would become too obvious that he is a downright #traitor, if he didn't express dissatisfaction with #Putin, even if he does it just for show.
I don't see him put his money where his mouth is. Provide military assistance to #Ukraine and impose stricter #sanctions on Russia now!

Now we need to see #Trump urgently implementing significant consequences, such as providing more military assistance to #Ukraine and stricter #sanctions against #Russia.
If he doesn't, then the conclusion is unavoidable that his "lashing out at #Putin" is just for show and he is actually acting on behalf of the #Kremlin.
