It's an illustration for a drawing contest. The goal was to create an illustration with 3 words : hope, snake and spring.

I'm quite proud of this artpiece because I'm not used to putting a lot of different colors in my illustrations !!
I hope you'll appreciate it, and don't hesitate to share it if you want ❤

We can see a human who's trying to help a medusa to get up. Medusa seems to be afraid and she sitting at the center of a big statue of a blue snake. Colors are so bright , the sky is blue and we can feel spring. At the background we can see ruined buildings.

@Knightky and I listen to audiobooks on long road trips. This time, we listened to Between Two Fires by Christopher Buehlman. What at first seems like a basic Middle Ages historical book turns into some seriously wild dark fantasy. I imagined a wackadoo anime for certain scenes. It features a disgraced knight, a naive orphan, and a gay priest on a mysterious quest. Set in France during the time of the Black Plague and the crusades, it portrays religious beliefs and superstitions of the time as literal phenomena. I think Buehlman is my new favourite author.
