In May, settlers uprooted more than 1,000 trees, including 695 olive trees in the governorates of Hebron, Ramallah, Salfit, Tulkarem and Nablus.
And olive trees.

@appassionato Israel have destroyed 86% of all agriculture land in Gaza, they did not have any military value, but they just destroyed them and wiped them off.
Of course, you don't read about it, other than in a footnote somewhere.
The Jewish ISIS terrorists in west bank have destroyed 10s of thousands of Palestinian olive trees, some of them over 200 years old. they uproot them, set them on fire, steal their harvest, drop weed killer on them and all of it happen with protection of IDF to make sure Palestinians don't harm thee monsters.
And if you look at the time stamp of those stories, most of them are before Oct. 7, 2023, things have gotten far far worse since that day and the media has stopped reporting about them.

Israeli settlers vandalise olive trees in West Bank
Israeli travel restrictions and attacks on olive groves meant Palestinian farmers lost approximately 1,200 metric tonnes of olive oil from last year’s harvest.
Israeli settlers burn olive grove in West Bank
A group of settlers have attacked the Palestinian community of Madama, south of Nablus in the occupied West Bank.
Settlers set fire to land north of the village, causing dozens of olive trees to burn before the residents were able to put out the fire.
Israeli settlers’ attacks on Palestinians took place across the region on Tuesday, including in Burin, south of Nablus, and Yasouf, northeast of Salfit, where they destroyed crops and demolished a well.
In Burqa, east of Ramallah, they set olive trees on fire.
On average, there are four such attacks witnessed daily.
The UN has documented 962 settler attacks since October 7, which have led to the destruction of 43,000 Palestinian-owned trees and saplings.
Some of the Olive trees that currently still grow and bear fruit in occupied Palestine are thousands of years old.
This olive tree is nearly 5000 years old and has witnessed more war and bloodshed than any of us. In the Garden of Gethsemane, on the Mount of Olives, at the edge of Jerusalem, trees still grow that were there when Jesus wept.

"I look after about 700 olive trees around the valley. But I and others with groves have lost about 70% of them in the past five years. Some were taken by settlers; others have just been made impossible to cultivate.
As Price Of #OliveOil Soars, Chainsaw-Wielding Thieves Target Mediterranean's Century-Old #OliveTrees
By Associated Press, November 8, 2023
"In an olive grove on the outskirts of #Athens, grower Konstantinos Markou pushes aside the shoots of new growth to reveal the stump of a tree — a roughly 150-year-old specimen, he said, that was among 15 cut down on his neighbor's land by thieves eager to turn it into money.
"Surging olive oil prices, driven in part by two years of #drought in #Spain, has meant opportunity for criminals across the Mediterranean. Warehouse break-ins, dilution of premium oil with inferior product, and falsification of shipping data are on the rise in #olive-growing heartlands of #Greece, #Spain and #Italy. And perhaps worst of all: Gangs using chainsaws to steal heavily laden branches and even entire trees from unguarded groves.
"'The olive robbers can sometimes produce more oil than the owners themselves – seriously,' Markou said, before heading off to patrol his own grove at nightfall.
"The crimes mean fewer olives for growers already contending with high production costs and #ClimateChange that has brought #WarmerWinters, major #flooding and more intense #ForestFires. In Italy’s southern #Puglia region, growers are pleading with police to form an agriculture division. Greek farmers want to bring back a rural police division that was phased out in 2010. In Spain, a company has developed tracking devices that look like olives to try and catch thieves."

Olive trees on fire
Israeli settlers - who live illegally on Palestinian land and shouldn’t be there in the first place - regularly destroy and uproot olive trees belonging to Palestinians, often striking at night to go unnoticed.
Olive trees are a livelihood for many families, and a key component of the Palestinian economy. That’s how they are meant to survive.

Oh, and they did this while #OliveTrees are dying from blight (Xylella fastidiosa bacterium) and #ClimateChange. Basically, a crime against fellow humans and nature!
#Israeli forces uproot 2,000 olive trees in the West Bank
14 November 2022
"Israeli forces on Monday uprooted and destroyed some 2,000 olive trees in the #Palestinian village of Qarawat Bani Hassan in the northern occupied West Bank, according to local media.
"Ibrahim Assi, the mayor of Qarawat Bani Hassan, said soldiers stormed al-Awarid, an area north of the village, declared it a closed military zone, then proceeded to bulldoze the area, of around 300 dunams (o.3 square km), in an operation that lasted for more than five hours.
"Assi said Israeli forces destroyed stone walls, 'stole the olive trees they uprooted", and sprayed chemical #pesticides over #olive, #grape and #almond saplings.
"The olive harvest season, which runs between October and November, is a lifeline for 80,000 to 100,000 Palestinian families in the occupied West Bank."

"Olive Grove," Vincent van Gogh, 1887.
Nothing like olives! Van Gogh seemed to view olive trees as a symbol of hope and regeneration. He did long studies of them at different times of day and in different seasons; this one is late autumn.
