Love this
For me there are few things worse than false empathy

Spoiler:
Being punished for things doesn't make kids behave better.
No. 2:
Become impatient and short tempered. Demand that they get to the point.

Finally found a cauliflower soup my 6yo actually enjoys.
It's crème Dubarry, and you can almost taste the cauliflower among all the cream.
Dites la team #parent si vous avez des references de parcs pliables qu'on peut mettre dans un coin facilement quand on est dans la pièce et qu'on peut plier vite fait quand on en sort, ça serait bienvenue sous ce pouet !
Has anyone experience with transporting a newborn by bicycle? I researched a ton and am truly surprised how nontrivial it is. My main question is: at what age did you start transporting them by bike and with what equipment? My kid is just a month old now but I really would rather not want to rely on public transport until she is 6 months.
Boost for reach!
Told my kids I'd like to be greeted this morning to them chanting in unison:
Children of the beast, embrace
To scorn and hate the human race
Consume the light that hugs the earth
And aid the womb in giving birth
To a dad that will appear
And guide you through this final year
The dark armies then will come
When the Dad is 41...
But they must have thought I was joking.
I wasn't.
Going to teach my kids about vinyl before they become teenagers. If you spend all your free time and money on vinyl, no time/money for drugs or romantic partners. Win/win
Parenting pro tip:
If your kid wakes up in the middle of the night and insists you snuggle with them in their twin bed, fall asleep first and accidentally snore in their face because of the cold they gave you and said kid will *gently* suggest you return to your own bed.
Had a BBQ yesterday and somehow got deep into conversation about how Violent J from Insane Clown Posse provided one of the best examples of supportive parenting in a interview about his kid being a furry.
Then we watched a bit of the show he and Ruby made after she got ripped off on her fur suit. https://youtu.be/HNSBIMLs96M
