Anyone with an #xbox one s and an #LG smart TV know why HDMI port detects the Xbox, says something briefly about SIMPLINK then says no input check external device power?
Tried 2 x HDMI cables and 2 x hdmi inputs on TV with no adaptors, tried two power cables as well...
Works fine with regular monitor and all updates done there.

I've got a strange problem with #linux #mint #cinnamon on a Lenovo P51s. 5.15.0-131-generic #141-Ubuntu

When the lid has been closed and is opened the desktop login won't come up, instead I see a terminal with info about the USB state and bluetooth state. I can put the device on the dock and watch the updated info on the screen but cannot get back to the desktop.

I can access tty1 and tty4 only but cannot get X11 back without reboot.

What can I do to fix this?

Assistance, please. Quite tech savvy, but thrown for a loop. Desktop bluetooth connecting/disconnecting. Tried everything, then uninstalled old device. Bought new. Same problem! Explored device manager, services setting-you name it. Made certain that windows wasn't overriding and turning off Bluetooth. Nothing works. And it's not the fault of the devices I'm connecting to the computer, for they work well with my car, Alexa, etc.

because I just went through this: iOS 18.3 changes your mail inbox. here's how to put it back:
First, in mail.app, in the upper right hand corner there is an ellipsis button. tap it & choose "list view" to get rid of the categories banner
Second, to hide the user icons:
1. open Settings.app
2. scroll down and tap the “Apps" button
3. scroll down the list of apps and tap “Mail”
4. scroll down and toggle “Show Contact Photos" (and anything else you want to ;)

Heyo I have a computer parts question I need answered.

I have an HP pavillion 15-cs3063cl laptop. I'd like to replace the SSD and add a RAM stick (it came with one stick). The battery also needs to be replaced. If I use 3rd party RAM sticks, SSD, and battery is my laptop just gonna bitch at me when I boot up or is my laptop gonna brick itself?

I'd also like recommendations for parts but I'll specify in the replies.

Bit of a long shot, but does anyone out there know if it's possible to sync a calendar in Thunderbird to an app on my phone? I've tried copying the database files to see if I can simply import them (obviously this won't sync new events), but they're .sqlite files that the app can't see.

Me: Have you tried turning it off and then bacon?
