Saturday #Workout:
6 KM of Zone 2 #Running (18°C, 88% humidity, with a 9 KM/H wind).

Spent about 60% of the time in Zone 2, and kept popping into Zone 3 during elevation changes. So hard to slow down. Glad I got it done earlier because it's ugly out now.

Had brunch afterwards and did groceries with @TAV as this is our last day off until Bluesfest is over. Such is #FestivalLife!

I believe we're about to watch the Twister movies once laundry comes out of the washer and goes into the dryer.

This was the 11th day cycling 100 km ( 62 miles) or a bit more, mostly after work. Before that my average used to be 75 km daily.

In my youth 100 km wouldn't have been much but I guess that age changes how fast muscles grow, adopt. Maybe it's because I cycle faster, more forceful.

During the last two weeks the shape of my thigh muscles has changed. Often they hurt, while cycling or while at rest. They complain about the change.

I'm now at 2530 km this month.

Tuesday #Workout:
320 sec of plank.
11 min yoga for runners.
9.7 KM of #Cycling (19°C, 98% humidity, & 12 KM/H wind).

Skipped most of today's workouts as my calf is still still sore, even at the end of the day. I'll try even more stretching in the morning to see if that helps.

I don't have my make-shift standing desk set up yet, but soon, I hope. At least the air conditioning in our trailer works, because the Humidex was up over 30°C and I was not a happy person. Winter needs to come soon.

If anyone wonders if physical therapy is helpful for an older person who is extremely out-of-shape and overweight, yes, yes, yes it is.

5 weeks in I am finally able to add a treadmill and another leg strengthening machine. I’ve gone from the red band to green to blue now, which is increase in strength needed for arm and torso exercises.

Also, today I broke a sweat exercising for first time!
Er, in full disclosure, the AC in the therapy center had gone out at 7 am and I began at 8 am. Soooo, it definitely was on the warm side in that room. #Therapy #PhysicalTherapy #Workout #Exercise
