Tsankawi mesa is the ancestral home to people who lived there in the 1400s and 1500s and the pueblo that still exists is named San Ildefonso, which leads me to think it was a place settled by the Spanish. That does not explain the petroglyphs, but that's the way of it here in New Mexico.

Growing up in Israel, a land that's an incredible mosaic of cultures, religions, and viewpoints, has given me a unique vantage point on tolerance and open-mindedness.

This aspect of Israeli culture has taught me that even when there are deep divides, there's always a bridge—a human bridge—that can bring us closer together.

I'm putting the finishing touches on my #multicultural / #interfaith #calendar so it will be ready in time for the #NewYear.

I started with the months with fewest #holidays: Shvat, Sivan, Cheshvan, Kislev, and Tammuz (for those of you who use the Pope Gregory calendar, those fall around: January, August, December, June, and July).

Now I'm just doing the hard part, #TheHolidaySeason: Adar A & B and Nisan (~ March-May on Pope Gregory's calendar), when EVERYONE has an important #holiday or two.
